Hotel-hotel Bersejarah
Located right in the centre of Trinidad, close to Plaza Mayor, Encanto Meson del Regidor is a small, charming hotel. Cosy and inviting, the hotel has its own cafe restaurant with a regularly lineup of local musicians performing throughout the day.

Though it may have just 5 rooms, the hotel is full of character, complete with cobbled paths, a courtyard and a delightful restaurant that locals and non guests alike enjoy serving both cuban and international dishes.

Hotel E Meson del Regidor is ideal for travellers looking for colonial accommodation in the centre of Trinidad at affordable price. Conveniently located just 13KM from beaches in Playa Ancon, the hotel is also easily accessible from Tope de Collantes and Jaime González airport in Cienfuegos city.

Guide to Trinidad
The best-preserved colonial city in Cuba, in the shadow of the Escambray mountains, Trinidad was not even linked by road to the rest of the country until the 1950s.
Declared a national monument by the Cuban government this city is very much as it was four centuries ago, the beauty of its baroque architecture and cobblestones squares harking back to a bygone era when Trinidad was a key player in the Caribbean slave trade.

There are many interesting things to see (e.g Guamuhaya Archaeological Museum, Plaza Mayor, Church of Santa Ana, Calle Simon Bolivar....) but the most impressive of all Trinidad's many museums is Trinidad Municipal Museum and a visit to the Taller Alfarero, a large ceramics workshop where traditional techniques are still used is also worthwhile.
