Mengenai Hostal Villa Mar
A magnificent 1940’s villa of the former senator of the Camaguey province. The senator would stay here while on duty in the capitol. The exterior resembles an Italian mansion, while the interior transcends you back to Havana’s golden days. There is a splendid, quit restaurant where breakfast is served and where in the afternoon locals meet for lunch. All rooms are located on the second floor, some with access to a shared balcony.

Guide to Miramar
Further to the west this area is home to some of the most expensive hotels, restaurants in Havana and the majority of the country's foreign embassies, the tree-lined avenues and stately mansions on and around Fifth Avenue suggest that this is where Havana's elite reside.
